To date, she has released two recordings, both of which she has personally written, and arranged all of the songs. Kathy writes with the adept confidence of an experienced songwriter, and lyrically, her music is ardently straightforward, confronting even the hardest of hearts. It is a unique blend of inspirational ballads, acoustic folk, gospel, and blues, creating an original “mixed dish” style all her own.

Kathy’s first CD, “Beyond The Storm”, has had national distribution with great success. This collection of songs is a powerful testimony representing her unfolding understanding of her relationship with God and others. By joining the traditional Word with a unique contemporary sound, her music has touched the lives of thousands, bringing conviction and reconciliation.

In July of 2000 Kathy completed a second CD, “The Ten Commandments”. This one of a kind compilation is a  brave, commendable masterpiece of sacred themes and fresh tunes that call attention to truths that contemporary Christianity still holds and teaches. This music is engrossing and contemplative. It is not the standard list of "do's and don'ts" that have prevailed in times past, but a compelling invitation to a life filled with the presence of God.

Currently, Kathy is recording her third album, “Loud Cry”. This extraordinary union of unusual rhythms, harmonies, and biblically sound lyrics is in fact, a ‘loud cry’ to a dying world……a stirring reminder of the imminent return of our Savior Jesus Christ. 

Kathy performs her music at coffeehouses, festivals, schools, missions, churches of every denomination, and is regularly invited to share her testimony and music with singles, women's, and twelve step recovery groups, ministering to people everywhere she goes.

Kathy Schallert is committed to bringing out the precious truths of God's Word in these last days and it is her desire to labor together with all men, women, and children in making the light of Christ shine forth to the world, and calling out a people that will be true to God and to His Commandments.
